🧲 Magnetic Cable Holder – 1 x TPU Clip

A simple magnetic cable management system for keeping charging cables, USB-C leads, mouse and keyboard cables, and other everyday cords organised and within easy reach.

This is the base and the removable cable clip is to be 3D printed in TPU, giving the clip enough flexibility to grip the cable while allowing them to quickly attach and detach magnetically.

⚠️‼️Please note:

This is a 2 components project, in here the Aluminium base, then you need to print the TPU clip from here: link

🔧 Assembly

Requires 2 × 8 by 3 mm magnets - Aliexpress
Add a small drop of super glue to permanently secure each magnet
Install the magnet in the base (this project) with the opposite polarity/orientation to the clip magnet
Install the magnet in the cable clip (read note above, you need to 3D print it) with the opposite polarity so it is attracted to the base magnet
Always test magnet orientation before applying glue
Use double-sided 3M tape to attach the base to your preferred clean, flat surface. I use these circular double sided silicon dots from Amazon
